Nite Club Confidential
Early in my career I had the opportunity to play Buck Holden in Nite Club Confidential at the Sierra Repertory in Sonora. It was such a fun experience and I have a clip from one of the tap numbers to prove it.
In this clip I’m on the left, Philip Vanderveer is in the middle and Dennis Clark is on the right. The lead singer is Mindy Stover, who was a regular at Sierra and incredibly talented. It was a privilege to work with all of these pro’s.
Mindy passed away from cancer a few years after our show and I think of her often. She was the reason why I learned to play guitar and I wrote ‘Before the Dawn’ in honor of her. Thank you Mindy for your infectious joy of life.
